Children to be taught by Muslim clerics

Schools Secretary Ed Balls has announced plans to allow Muslim clerics into the classroom to teach children about citizenship, the Koran and Islam.
The plans have been greeted by derision by critics who dismissed them as another government gimmick. Children are already taught about different religions in religious education classes.
