A man who made a citizen’s arrest on a yob who was terrorising his home found himself arrested on suspicion of kidnapping the lout.
Frank McCourt had to endure a three month ordeal whilst the yob and his gang walked away scot free.

Almost £4million will be made available to Scottish police forces to help in the fight against terrorism. The £3.8m will help create more than 50 counter terrorism jobs in Scotland.
The money will help to make ports and airports more secure, and allow the police to raise awareness of terrorism in communities.

Iraqi interpreters who worked with the British forces in Iraq have been complaining about the accommodation they have been given in Glasgow.
The interpreters were granted asylum in the UK after they faced death threats from militants in Iraq, who believe they are “collaborators”.

Head teacher forced to apologise over Muslim comments
The head teacher of Kerr Mackie Primary in Roundhay, Leeds, was forced to apologise after he made comments about Muslims and bombs whilst defusing a playground argument between four Muslim pupils.
Jon Farley will now undergo “race equality training”, education chiefs have confirmed.
