An Airbus A380 of Singapore Airlines
The world’s largest passenger jet, the Airbus A380, has made its first UK-bound passenger flight. The aircraft entered service with Singapore Airlines in 2007 on the Singapore-Australia route, and its landing at Heathrow marked the end of its first passenger flight to Europe.

The British government has been warned against building giant jails by the governor of Europe’s largest prison.
Speaking on a Radio 4 programme, Joaquim Pueyo, governor of Fleury-Merogis prison near Paris, said that jails should ideally have a maximum of 600 inmates. The prison near Paris holds nearly 3,800 people.

The Citizens Advice Bureau is to expand the help for Polish migrants on Anglesey. The one trained Polish speaker has already helped 13 Polish speakers on the island since last year.
