North Wales Police is encouraging young people from ethnic minorities to consider a career in the force.
Pupils from five secondary schools across the north of Wales spent two days learning about police work, which included watching mock arrests, and seeing how crowds are dealt with in the Life Skills Course at Old Colwyn.

RAF personnel from RAF Wittering have been told not to wear their uniforms when entering Peterborough. Several servicemen from the base had reported that they had been subjected to verbal abuse by civilians who object to the military action in Iraq and Afghanistan.
