The airman killed in Iraq on Friday has been named as Sergeant Duane “Baz” Barwood.
Sergeant Barwood was from Caterton in Oxfordshire and was based at RAF Brize Norton. He was attached to 903 Expeditionary Air Wing.
He was killed after his base in Basra came under a rocket attack, and he leave behind a wife and [...]

Prisons in England and Wales have exceeded capacity for the first time. There were 82,068 prisoners, which is 96 more than the Prison Service’s “operational capacity”.
